Lilin (Elin) Kan, PhD., L.Ac., Dipl. OM (NCCAOM)
E.K. has always held a passion for helping others. She finds great personal fulfillment in helping others achieve physiological and psychological well-being. She has experienced the loss of her father due to hospital-acquired infections. After years of grieving, she decided to turn her loss and pain into a drive to save lives, to make things better. She understood the helplessness of being a patient and family. She believes that Chinese Medicine would be an excellent avenue to pursue that passion, to help the needy, in memory of her past father. She follows in the footsteps of her great-grandfather, who was a well-known doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine in North Taiwan.
E.K. is a California state licensed acupuncture practitioner and herbalist, and she is also certified in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from National Board, NCCAOM. She received her PhD degree in Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine (DAIM) from Alhambra Medical University, and also holds an MBA degree from University of Houston - Main Campus, TX.
